Vanessa
Gibbs Hilliard,
a native Washingtonian, educated in DC Catholic Schools attended
Bowie State College (University). While at Bowie State,
she became a member of Swing Phi Swing SFI, November of 1974.
Upon graduation, Mrs. Gibbs Hilliard began her career in Banking. |
| She
has worked at numerous financial institutions in the Washington/Baltimore
corridor for over twenty-nine years. |
| Currently,
she is a Vice President at a local banking institution in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. |
| Vanessa
is a Lifetime member of the Swing Phi Swing Social Fellowship Inc.
where she is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, a member
of the Finance Committee of the Executive Board, and Treasurer of
the D.C. Metro Graduate Chapter. |
| She
has most recently served on the Board of Hannah House (a transitional
home for women and children) and is a member of the Bethesda Chevy
Chase Chamber. She was affiliated with the Silver Spring Chamber
as well as the National Association of Bank Women. She is also
a volunteer with the National Home for Baptist Children. |
Vanessa
resides in Washington D.C. with her husband and fellow Brother
of Groove Phi Groove, S.F.I., Harold Hilliard.
